I woke this morning to my mi box behaving this way.
No changes had been made, but no amount of fiddling would correct it it, until i did a factory reset.

Happens to me every so often, also Netflix crashes repeatedly at times. The only fix I've found was to hold down the power button and select restart. Once it rebooted it worked fine.
