Best Bluetooth Game Controller?

I bought a SteelSeries Stratus XL for my MiBox to play some emulator games. Tried it out only to find out it hardly works. None of the buttons work except for the left d-pad one.

Can anyone recommend a controller for gaming?

I have no idea about the best. But I use the Asus Gamepad from my Nexus Player. No issues pairing and everything works as it should.

For emulator games the snes30 from 8bitdo is awesome looks just like an old snes controller

The xiaomi gamepad is great for any android device and works even better on your xiaomi TV box. It is only 20 dollars on AliExpress

I use the Matricom G Pad BX with retroarch and have not had any issues with it, plus the battery is rechargeable

I use a combination of the Asus gamepad for 3D type games and a SNES30 for 2D games on my Mi box. Both work great.

I'm using the Xiaomi gamepad. Use it to play Beach Buggy Racing, Hungry Shark Evolution and Star Wars:KOTOR. Pairing is very easy and works flawlessly. Not sure how long the batteries can last though.

The official Samsung Gamepad worked best for me with Android phones. Felt better in the hand, buttons felt quality, and it worked even better with Samsung phones. Not sure what the price is but they always have a few on eBay.
