This is a problem a lot of people have. I don't know whether this is on ALL devices, Xiaomi told me to go to Walmart and get a replacement, so they (want to) think it's just a few of them, unfortunately I don't live in the US, so I can't just get another one. Unless Xiaomi accepts this bug and fixes it, we're sort of screwed.

Try it with SPMC as kodi does not have proper Android support. This is an issue with the handling of the codecs. All my S905X boxes have no issues with 10bit HEVC with SPMC.

What kinds of files are you trying to play? Because i had a few troublesome shows like GoT.

• On the nexus player i just got audio
• on the mi box: plex stuttered and lagged then tried to catch up and fell out of sync
• kodi with just sw decoding gave me the same green mess
• kodi with hw decoding played fine excpet for lagging, but not as bad as plex
• mx player plays them perfectly
