MiBox SPMC Autostart

Question

Hi there, I'm new to the MiBox and SPMC, is it possible to autostart into SPMC on this box?

There's an app called Launch on Boot that will launch any app you want when the system is booted up. I installed it on my Shield yesterday. I assume the MiBox has the same apps available in the play store.

You can make SPMC your default launcher by disabling the default Android TV launcher. This would achieve booting straight into SPMC. You can launch any other apps you use from within SPMC insead of the Android UI.

There is just so much other content that Android TV can do. Why pay the premium for the MiBox with Android TV if you are only going to boot into Kodi or SPMC?  You can do the same thing with an cheep garbage Android box.
