Title explains it all, i'm trying to remove the Smart Hub Firmware and replace it with my own. Any experience doing this?

These are TVs, not smartphones.
I'd be interested in this but it seems impossible.
It is like asking if you can install Android TV on an Apple TV. SmartHub is a completely different OS than Android, and the Samsung TV hardware is completely closed and undocumented.
It is theoretically possible, since SmartHub is based on Tizen which uses Linux kernel like Android. But would require a huge amount of work, which no one has done, to get Android TV working properly. It is quite possible that there are binary drivers needed that only work with Tizen. There is also serious risk of completely bricking your television.
Much easier to purchase Android TV box for $100 and attach to TV.
Just won't work, there are no driver's for the hardware.
