Maybe if they had an app for Android TV and others, this wouldn't happen

I have amazon prime, but choose to watch on my shield connected TV, via KODI, so I guess that's still stealing, right? Even though I pay for it.

The Grand Tour is the only reason I use the Amazon Video app on my 4k TV.

You know, not all countries have access to Amazon Prime and THAT makes it hella hard to sign up tp prime even though I actually would rather pay for it to watch the show in 4K quality than streaming it off some webpage!!! They should start complaining less and making it more available to more people instead of this "Amazon Prime" shit exclusive only!!! What the hell did they think would happen?

owlboy

Grand Tour is bigger than Game of Thrones? Sounds like something they would say on the show.

I think it's a billing issue more than an app issue (though the app doesn't help). As a Canadian, if I want to watch this, I need to sign up for a US-based Prime account to watch, and I can't watch any of their non-exclusive content. The fact that Top Gear was popular around the world is definitely not helping them here.

Even that might be ok, except I also have to pay $80 for an entire year of service, instead of a more reasonable monthly fee.

I prefer streaming things legally, but my preference ends as soon as they make it too hard, or too expensive.

Am I missing something? I have Amazon Video (UK) installed on my Sony Android TV. Is it not available on all platforms?

My app works flawlessly, giving me the Grand Tour in 4K.

mjabroni

No legal way to watch it here in Mexico. Still I pay for US Prime, and still have to deal with them blocking my USA VPN IPs. No wonder why they have high numbers of online downloads with their closed distribution system.

hackel

Exactly. It's shameful, and I don't feel bad pirating it one bit.

IByrdl

It's bullshit. This show is the only reason I have for starting up my Xbox now. Would love to just cast it.

fleker2

Only 14% of downloads are from the UK? Why is this show so popular around the world?
