Why not Android with Kodi installed? Best of both.

When someone puts "Kodi" in all caps, you already know they are talking about those cheapo Android boxes that have Kodi pre-installed with a bunch of streaming addons.

You're being downvoted because we only discuss official Android TV boxes and TVs. The Mi Box (USA model) and Nvidia Shield are recommended and SPMC (Kodi for Android) or Kodi can be installed via the Google Play Store.

I prefer anything that doesn't have Kodi installed on it.

Just typing K O D I makes me want to go wash my hands with bleach and sugar to grind off the Kodi.

I can run Kodi on my Android TV device. I wouldn't ever just want Kodi by itself when I can have Android and Android TV apps as well.

always used roku but currently use Mi Box, nicer. Kodi works great for movies but will never recognize my tv shows, so use archos more which works great for both movies and Tv
