How can I backup my GTA:Vice City save data?

by HattoriHanzo

So my shield has been acting up... constantly Google Play Services or whatever crashes... dont even use that but the alert comes up like every 30 min. and some other issues. heard doing a full system reset is the fix but i dont want to lose my GTA saves.

How can I get these save data, reset and add the data back.

Aside from going into the game files manually (ES explorer) and pulling onto a USB stick; i'm afriad there's no other way. THIS is the exact reason ALL games should use Google play games services. Cloud sync is absolutely essential for mobile based games as people ALWAYS change phones every X years. And it annoys me when some (actually) most games don't have Google Cloud sync and achievements enabled. I don't think its particularly hard to incorporate from what i've heard?

Use a file explorer and navigate to Android -> Data -> com.rockstar. whatever -> Files and look for the GTAVCsf.b files. Those are your save files, depending on how many games you have saved. It's a very small file. Just save it and put it back in that folder when you're ready.
