You can ask GHome to play music or videos on your TV.
Dunno what else to tell you. There's dozens of demonstrations and reviews on YouTube if you search for "Google Home".
It's almost the same as Chromecast. You can use voice commands to stream YouTube and music to Android TV. There should be an update soon to add Netflix.
