Mibox voice search voice to text?

Sorry if this has been posted before, but i recently got a mibox and I always thought the voice feature would be great to search for videos in Kodi (or anything really) but it seems to only do a google search. Is there a way to fix that? Would make that feature a lot more useful since it was bought only for Kodi playback.

Switch over to SPMC Kodi variant. Voice search is fully supported on this Android optimized fork of Kodi.

SPMC (the Android fork of Kodi) supports voice search, but only inside SPMC.

Use SPMC. It seems you have to be in the actual search box to use voice search though.

ok that is great. my next question is, are there any drawbacks? I looked it up a bit, supports autoboot too. that is awesome!
