I'm trying to migrate data to a 16gb USB thumb drive but settings keeps crashing when I click the "move now" option. I was able to manually move only SPMC to the thumb drive. Trying to move a second app to the USB drive the system says not enough storage space. Any suggestions?
Ext storage does work on the mi box. I have USB hub with 2 sticks. One is set up as internal storage and one is set up as ext storage.
Insert stick and select to use as internal storage and it will format. Then go to apps and manually move any apps you can to it. Not all apps can be moved. When installing new apps, they will automatically go to your USB stick of possible.
If it is saying your stick is full too soon them make sure you don't have any weird partitioning going on.
