I got a Mi Box for Christmas and I like it, but it's annoying that I have to have one remote for my TV and another for the Mi Box.
Can anyone recommend a remote that will work with both of them? And I mean an actual hardware remote, Google just keeps showing me phone apps.
Feel free to keep recommending remotes for other people to look at, but I've just discovered something very nice.
Turns out my Vizio TV has CEC support, so my standard TV remote actually works with it!
To make it work, I had to hit "Input" until I got to the Mi Box (The TV even knew it's name), then go into the TV settings and hit scan under CEC, and now it works with the Mi Box. For some reason I have to hit 1 on the remote before it'll work though.
Not cheap, but the Logitech Harmony Home companion should work well.
