I can't sign out of the Sling app on my Mi Box

I bought a Mi Box a few weeks ago, and finally got around to playing with it. I use mainly Amazon Fire TV boxes, but wanted to try Android TV.

Now, I'm trying to log in to my Sling account, and there is already a username there: mibox_79f23967...e11 @ sling.com

When I choose the Sign Out button, it takes me back to the "My TV" screen on Sling. However, when I go back to the Account settings to sign in, that mibox address is still there.

I have tried clearing the cache and reinstalling Sling. Nothing works. Can anyone here help me?
