Wireless Mini Keyboard (AA batteries?)

by aprentis

Does anyone know of a Wireless Mini Keyboard that supports AA or AAA batteries? All of these ones on Amazon come with a lousy 800 mAh rechargeable.

Most of the keyboards still have multiple weeks/months of batterylife. I don't think this is an issue at all.

I use this on my shield tv: https://www.amazon.com/Aerb-Wireless-Keyboard-Multifunctional-3-Gsensor/dp/B00K768DHY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1483633190&sr=8-2&keywords=aerb+wireless+keyboard

Runs off two AAA batteries and works pretty well. Keyboard is on the back and it also acts as an air mouse, which is great for any sideloaded apps. Only problem is that the back button is mapped to a right-mouse click instead and, as far as I know, there is no way to fix this. I had to sideload a key remapping app and make one of the other buttons on the remote the back button.

I've had this little rechargeable keyboard for several months with no issue: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VRCKK1Y/ But it's main draw for me is that it's portable and folds up. Folding is probably a drawback if you don't actually want that feature.

Then I have this thing which does take AAA batteries, but it's not mini: tps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MUTWLW4/ I really like it, though. Can simultaneously pair with my phone, MiBox, and tablet just by rotating the little switch. But not really remote-sized if that's what you're going for.
