does anyone know update urls I could add to my router firewall to block firmware updates? specifically for the MDZ-16-AB mi box?
I like everything about how mine is now (540) and would like to block future updates until I can find out if a new update is something I want.
Setting the Mi Box not to automatically check for OS updates may be another option.
There hasn't been an update since launch day. I'm not sure I would even bother. The files are hosted by Google so probably "android.googleapis.com" or "android.clients.google.com" but I have never checked.
If you are capable using adb comands, PM me. There are a series of 8 lines to send to your mibox that will stop updates. It is reversible.
