I hope someone has an answer for you, but you're the first person I've ever heard using the DVR in Live Channels.

Good news... I set a couple scheduled recordings this morning and they worked. The recordings I set last night didn't work. It could have been because the device was "sleeping" or something. I will try some more test recordings tonight and see if they work.

So far very impressed with live channels and DVR functionality. I only see it getting better.

Any chance you can set a destination to save your recordings?

I.e Internal Storage, SD Card, USB, Network Share

If i can save my DVR Videos to my NAS box then i wont need the 500GB Shield tv and can make do with the 16GB

I haven't seen much info on how this is supposed to work.

Are the DVR features built into the Live Channels app? If so, where are the recordings found then for playback? Does it only support recording from attached USB OTA tuners or anything that plugs into the TV Input Framework (e.g. HDHomeRun)?

Well, I can't even get Live Channels to pull in the channel information fo me.
