Suggestions for VPN to watch USA content in Europe?

by oroboros74

I just got a MiBox3, and I'd like to be able to use some video streaming sites with free (paid?) content like Hulu, HBO, CBS, etc.

Ideally I'd like a free option, but I may be inclined to something paid if it's worth it. I can't tap into my router, so anything like that would not be an option.

Suggestions?

Look into Smart DNS. You don't need VPN.

I recommend either AdFreeTime ($2.68/month) or SmartDnsProxy ($.90/month, $2.08/month on a 2 year prepaid subscription). If you want US Netflix on your Android TV, go with the latter.

I've been using Private Internet Access (PIA) for the last two years. $40 a year, good for up to six devices. They have their own apps for Android, iOS, Mac and Windows. I've been pretty happy with it so far.

VyprVPN has their own Android TV leanback app, only VPN that I know of that has it's own Android TV app. It's US servers work amazingly fast, sometimes I even forget the VPN is connected at all!

Been using IPVanish for a month. Purchased an annual subscription when it was 60-65% off. No complaints so far
