FYI I actually contacted CBS about this. The recommendation was to power cycle your router and modem for 10 min then reconnect then power cycle your device as well. This would make sense as a fix based on the work around. I haven't tested it yet as I so rarely use the CBS (Football only) and its just easier to do the work around when needed :D
Disable location permission for the app. Then it will work for one time until you run it again. Then the error will come back.
