The shield tv is pretty finicky with my universal remote, I often have to press buttons multiple times and aim all over the room to get it to recognize commands. Anybody have this problem? Any solutions?

I use a harmony on my sheild and mibox.i had to adjust the delay on it for both as well as my old nexus player and rokus.
What universal remote are you using?
This might be a stupid question but did you try fresh batteries?
