Has anyone been able to get an ADB connection over wifi? I've rooted, but I can't connect to the box unless I use a male-male usb cable.
I'm used to connecting to my AFTV via:
adb connect <ip address>
which allows me to update software, modify kodi's advancedsettings.xml, etc
by default the ports on the retail mi bix are closed...
to open a port connect your device via usb... type adb tcpip 5555
you can then disconnect the usb and type connect ipaddress:5555 to access the mo box thru adb on wifi...
unfortunately upon reboot of the mi box the ports will be closed again... you would need root to make the ports persist across reboots...
