Missing for anyone else? I know we speculated it would be a software addition later because it wasn't in the beta. Do we have any official answers yet?

It's just a shortcut, no separate Steam app according to Nvidia.
"Can you please elaborate on the Steam App? My new Shield TV (2017 version) arrived today and I do not see any Steam App. What I do see is Gamestream using Steam Big Picture mode. Once you use this it puts a shortcut on the desktop to Steam Big Picture mode via Gamestream.
But as best I can tell there is no Steam App. Do I understand this correctly or is there a Steam App that I should have on my device??
The way you described it is correct. There is no separate Steam app on the SHIELD to launch directly into Steam BPM."
Can anyone comment on the performance, particularly vs the Steam Link?
This is such a farce and one reason I hate NVIDIA. They blatantly lied about there being a "steam app" being available on Google Play. They are just talking about their proprietary Gamestream app which doesn't work with AMD cards.
I am salty about this yes but why lie about it?
