New controller ($60) or an Nvidia spot when they're released ($50).
Just picked up the new controller. Is it weird the mic seems not to be working. I'm press the button and the speak box appears but nothing...
If I have a Gen 1 Controller for my Gen 1 shield, and I upgrade, can I get always on?
To head off the questions: I switched to the new Fire TV stick to get Amazon videos, and let my friend borrow my gen 1 shield. Altogether, I liked the shield more, except for the voice commands and Amazon video. So if that's gotten better, I would like to get it back.
Once the software update is released for the Gen 1 Shield it should work exactly the same as the Gen 2, so you just need the new controller.
The controller.the remote is not hands free.
