Unfortunately this seems to happen only on Sony TVs and I haven't been able to figure out why since I don't have access to one for testing.
The app is open source, so if anyone reading this has the required hardware and knowledge to try and fix it I'd be most grateful: https://github.com/cachapa/AerialDream
