Got the new shield TV today and experiencing problems with the voice search. Pressing and holding the voice button freezes up the screen. So instead i must click the button. In plex it works hearing most of what you say, but on the homescreen the voice search never works. I'll say sobering and 20 second later something close to what i said gets entered. I'm on 5.0 software. Anyone else getting issues from the remote? I also have to point the remote directly at the box which sucks.
Got a fix from the company. Hold down the remote home and back buttons for 15 seconds. Then release. After that the voice search works perfectly, picks up everything i say.
