Has anyone used the AirTV TV Tuner on another Android TV with success?

I would also be interested to know if it would work on a Shield (with Nougat) or Nexus Player.

I think that it only works with the AirTV and the reason is that Nougat on the Nexus Player allows for 3 confirmed USB Tuners, one of which being the TV Tuner for the Xbox One. The AirTV is on Android 6.0, so I suspect that there was special coding for the AirTV.

Good price. Single tuner though? If so, not so interesting. Puts you back to the last century when you couldn't watch and record a different show at the same time. Hauppauge has a $70 dual tuner which is going to be interesting if someone gets it working on Android TV.
