Can Bluetooth headphones be used with Nvidia Shield TV?

Hey everyone,

I recently purchased the new 2017 Nvidia shield TV and was wondering how I can use my Bluetooth headphones instead of plugging in my wired headphones. I tried connecting via Bluetooth from the settings menu, but it was unable to find my Bluetooth headphone. Any advice would be great since I was unable to find this answer. Thanks!

Yes. I use Bluetooth headset daily with Shield.

Bluetooth headphone support came to all Android TV devices with the Marshmallow release I believe, so all of them should be capable by now. I even used it with the original Nexus Player,and it works flawlessly.

Edit: I should say, by "all of them" I mean all the set top boxes. I have zero knowledge of television sets that run Android TV.
