I have my shield TV connected to an Ethernet cable via powerline adapters and it will not connect. I previously had a mi box set up the same way and it was able to connect to the internet, but for whatever reason the shield will not. Anyone having an issue connecting via Ethernet cable?
Yes I am also having this issue. It is much slower than 5ghz wifi.
Mine has been rock solid. I would reeaaaally look at the power line adapter. Was your MI box linking at the same speed as your shield? Maybe put a pc/laptop on the cable and run some tests to see how solid the link is.
Are both ends of your powerline adapter on the same breaker circuit? If not, you'll have lots of speed and connection related issues.
Run ethernet cable in the wall like the rest of us! Don't be lazy about it.
Powerline adaptor is likely the culprit. They're known to be slow
