I know there has been some issues with the 4k or uhd with the Amazon app(2 days ago it didn't even list uhd). But I see UHD on the Grand Tour but when I play it I only get HD 1080p and I don't see an option to upscale it beyond that. Anyone else have this issue or know the solution?
What Display settings do you have selected on the shield? I am trying to get HDR to trigger on my ks8000 myself.
What tv are you using?
Not home at the moment but when I do get home I'll get post the model of tv I have. It is a samsung and I have set my color correction UHD setting for HDMI port 1 already. Also on the SHIELD I have set the resolution to 4k 59.xx Hz and I have tried all of the settings for color there which are all rec.709 instead of what I have read is supposed to be rec.2020. Any reason I wouldn't have rec.2020 option on the colors? Thanks for the help btw
Had the same problem, make sure you turn in uhd color in the settings for the hdmi port of your TV. Once I did that I got 4k amazon prime
