Has anyone had this issue? I'm watching a Kodi online stream, and I get the occasional and very slight skip/judder. I'm very sensitive to this type of thing, so it really jumps out, but most people might not notice. Any recommendations for alleviating this for those that have experienced similar?
Have you set the video output to have the display match the framerate of of the video? The normal ui runs at 60fps, but most content is 23.97 / 24 fps. You'll notice the screen goes black for a couple of seconds prior to the video starting as the refresh rate changes. Also... you should really be using SPMC, not Kodi on the Shield. It's the exact same, BUT, the guy who worked on the android part of Kodi left, and spun off this fork. it's in active development and supports proper audio passthrough. It looks and works the exact same as kodi and all the plugins work, it's just waaaay more staple and uses the android api's properly.
