As the title says. I'm using the new gen 2 Shield TV. Every time I set Plex to forced direct play, I get no audio on any of my DTS videos.
I thought the Shield could play back DTS natively? Am I missing something here? The Plex app is up to date.

I just got my new shield setup today. On my plex server everything is set to automatic, but i was noticing my dts titles were coming through as ac3/pcm. I went into the plex app settings and passthrough was set to off (must be the default, i changed no app settings previously). I turned it on and now my receiver (Denon) shows dts for the titles that have it.
plex audio is so broken
The Shield can. Does your equipment support DTS? Is passtheough enabled in Plex and the Shield sound settings (if it's there?)
Plex on my Shield passes DTS and DTS HD MA to my Onkyo receiver with no issue.
