I bought one because the gen 2 remote sucks, while my gen 1 works perfectly on my gen 2 box. This way I'll have two gen 1 remotes for both my shields.

I'd like to know what we get with the upcoming pro model. I've seen enough articles that seem to point to it being the original remote.
