Is anyone able to stream 1080p sources (Exodus, for example) in Kodi flawlessly? I'm getting tons of frame skipping, and I'm trying to narrow down what's causing it. I'm on a Shield TV Gen2 and have good, wired internet.

Streaming from the web, or a local hard drive? I have zero problems with streaming over 5 GHz, except for some small buffering issues with 4K movies. I did, however, have some trouble trying to get homerun HD to play smoothly.
It has to do with the refresh rates. There's a setting somewhere to change the refresh rate to match the source.
Sorry I can't be more specific, but google terms related to SHieldTV and Refresh Rate, you'll find something.
Nevermind. Local streaming is what I was discussing. If its just an Exodus issue, then I don't really have a solution
Search for a way to extend the video cache for Kodi, its usually really small so large sized streams don't work as expected. I've watched a 6.7gb 1080p episode through kodi in my SHIELD TV 2017 yesterday (with realdebrid)
This is the kind of quality you get from free, unauthorized distribution of content.
