I have an Android box and want to know if anyone knows of any game controllers that will work for emulators

by MulderxSkully

So i have the MXQ Pro for Kodi. And I wanna play some games since its based on Android, has the store and can do everything Android can do, obviously. Are there any controllers for it? I have plenty of open usb ports, but if it were bluetooth that would work too. Just wondering if anyone knows. Thanks in advance. Sorry if this is the wrong sub. Couldnt find an actual Android Box sub.

You should probably head over to /r/androidgaming

8bitdo sells some neat bluetooth retro controllers. If you're using retroarch it takes a bit of extra configuration to get them running properly but they're worth it I think.

Well I know on my Android TV devices, I just plug in things and they work. It's a fork of Android after all. (from Google too and not some small company that ripped off AOSP)

I even got SNES controllers working on my Shield using this USB adapter .

I just got one of these and was told for the Kodi app it would have content pre loaded, was this the case for you? If not how did you get everything on there??
