Does anyone know a good place to find specifically Fire TV APK's of apps that aren't available on Android TV which is sadly pretty much everything? I'm wanting to try sideloading them to make up for all the apps Android is missing. One of the ones I'm trying to find is Cartoon Networks Fire TV APK since it's not available for Android TV. I've found plenty of places that offer doing the opposite. Sideloading an Android version to the Fire but I can't find anywhere that has the Fire APK's to move to Android. The only app I've seen this done with is the Amazon Prime video APK to put on Android TV. So my question is why aren't there others since Android TV's app market is practically non existent and Fire TV's is quite plentiful? Does this not work most of the time, is that why I can't find anything else? Any info or ideas anyone has would be greatly appreciated.
On mobile so I can't link, but: I've had success seeing build.prop info on an old rooted phone to a fire TV settings, and using the web Amazon app store to push apps to it, then grabbing the apk and copying it to my android TV. End result: direct tv now runs like crap.
