I know this has been talked about often however what I have read does not pertain to my scenario. I just bought a new Shield TV over the weekend and absolutly love it. However one minor issue is the left button on my remote only works 80% of the time. I dont think it is laggy or has 2.4GHz interference since the other buttons work just fine. However is this something that is normal or is there any way to reset this without contacting Nvidia or returning it?
Hi, I have the same issue with my remote. I think it is a hardware issue because if pressed hard enough the button works 100% of the time. I contacted the nvidia support and they are replacing my remote free of charge.
Could you let us know if that works? I'm having the same issue.
Actually when I wrote this post 13 days ago they told me they would contact me on what I needed to do to get a replacement only for the remore control. Unfortunately they haven't since then answered my requests and I am sending my unit back to Amazon. I might buy it again some months from now to see if they have fixed this bug...
Are the firmwares for the box and the remote up to date?
