ShieldTV 2017 Plex linking issues

Today I received my new ShieldTV 2017 model. But the linking of my PLEX account always fails.

I go to plex.tv/link

enter the code from the ShieldTV and the browser says everything ok, go back to your app.

But on the ShieldTV nothing happens. It stays on the PLEX page that shows the code.

On my ShieldTV 2015 PLEX works fine.

Is anybody else having this issue?

I had this happen. Make sure you are up to date with the Plex app and reboot if it is still not responding. I had an issue where Plex Media server was hung, not sure if it was related.

I did not have this issue. Try uninstalling updates and re update?

Hey OP, did you get this working yet? I was looking on the Plex forums about a different issue and someone on the Plex team posted yesterday that "Linking through a PIN code should now be fixed." So maybe try again now if you haven't yet.
