Transfer files from phone to Shield TV via Wifi?

I was wondering what the best way/app is to transfer files (movies mostly) from my Android phone (LG G5) to the Shield TV over wifi?

I like to keep movies on my phone and watch them on lunch at work as well as cast them to the Shield TV. However, my lady sometimes wants to watch movies I've downloaded and if I'm not home with my phone, she is SOL.

I know there are many and better ways to skin a cat, but does anyone know the best way over wifi? Thanks.

Depending how many gb that may take a long-ass time to transfer.

I setup a ftp server on my shield to transfer things around. It works very well. Just Google around and find a guide. Took no more than 10-15 minutes to setup.
