If an android tv box has bluetooth functionality are there wireless mini-keyboards that can connect to it without the need for a dongle?

by fahrenheitisretarded

I can't find any that make it clear that no dongle is required, does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks.

Yeah, I have a random Bluetooth tablet keyboard I got years ago that works fine with it. Any Bluetooth keyboard designed to work with android would probably work

I use mine with 2 bluetooth keyboards logitech harmony and a hp

I own a shield TV 2015 and use a Logitech K810 keyboard with it. Works fine without any dongle.

Any that mention 2.4Ghz will come with a small dongle that will need to be connected to your Android TV device via USB.

Any that only mention bluetooth will not use a dongle.

Right now I'm considering these two, personally:

On criteria that they are purely bluetooth with no dongle required, are small, backlit, have touchpads. and only cost about 20 dollars.

I have no idea if either are any good.

Just to be clear, are you talking about a device running Android TV or one of those cheap boxes on Amazon that's running Android?
