I have 2 Mi Boxes, one connected via HDMI (picture and sound) and one connected via HDMI + 3,5mm analog cable. The first one works with everything I have tried. The one connected with 3,5mm analog doesn't play half off the stuff I throw at it with Plex. I think it is everything with AC3 audio that I get no sound at all from.
Every other app I have works great, but Plex doesn't!
Is there any solution?
I think in the Mi Box settings you can force it to output only stereo. I think it's called PCM.
Have you tried switching the boxes?
Might want to just use digital optical cable with 3.5 adapter Or use HDMI audio to Reciver amplifier that supports HDMI in for aduio or Digital Optical
It's not the mi box fault it's your Audio equipment not being compatible if all it has is analog inputs I would replace that hardware with something that supports digital....
Sorry but it's what it is also want to look into HDMI 2.0 compatibility with never sound systems... Witch we'll help also
Get a 3.5 digital SPDIF cable instead.
