I'm on 6.0 but geez what a cluster fuck it is. Both Featured and my apps section are all screwed up with many repeated apps showing . It's gotten harder to navigate because of this. Hopefully Sony fixes this ASAP

Didn't buy a Sony TV for fear of lack of updates. How is it so far? What version you on?
Anyone else experience shit wifi on their Sony Android TV? I have the KD43X8309 and the wifi only works about 50% of the time. Makes the whole 'smart TV' thing kinda pointless.
Yeah mine is 6.0.1 but I just haven't gotten the patch for Google Home to play nice with it. Like casting Netflix.
I have a Nexus player. I could care less about the updates. They always add some sort of bloat with every update. That random Samba service is one example (I think that's what it's called).
Everyone buying a tv with android cooked in and is expecting updates are fucking idiots. Technology advances way to fast to have a tv for 10 years that will quit getting updates after 2. I'll stick with my Shields
I didn't. I'm still on 5.1. Nexus player is rocking 7.1.1.
I hope Sony gets this out to us this year.
