MiBox 1080p 10bit HEVC

Hey guys,

So I bought the MiBox end of last year but I encountered some problems and returned it.

My problem was as described here: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=275083&pid=2452560#pid2452560

4k 10bit playback worked fine but 1080p 10bit which is the majority of my media produced green garbled mess.

So now I read that this specific issue might have been fixed can anyone confirm this? I am considering buying the box again.

Your help would be much appreciated.

The kodi thread on the Mi Box has more information than this sub. Koying (SPMC dev) has been testing the Mi box extensively.

What are you watching in 1080p 10bit color, btw? Are people taking an 8 bit source and encoding it using 10bit color for some reason?

I go ahead and turn deep color on in the Mi Box settings because supposedly some Youtube videos use 10bit color, but the setting always resets itself if I turn the Mi Box off or it goes to sleep.
