Where does Live TV DVR content save to on 7.0?

Hello everybody,

I was considering picking up a Shield TV with 7.0, but after I saw that 7 has full tuner and DVR support I think it sealed the deal. My question though is where DVR is saved to. Can I plug in an external drive and have it save to there?

It doesn't have full tuner and DVR support; that functionality is currently only available on the Asus Nexus Player.

It depends on each app. For an app recording content locally, it should save to a videos folder. This may be internal storage or move to external. The app itself saves a file URI to access later.
