Any other confirmations?
Hmm so it was a cost cutting measure. I was lucky enough to get the OG Shield last year that came with both two controllers and a remote, but I know that wasn't the case for everyone.
Nerfing the remote, materials, and specs on the contents of the shield (ports, etc) was so they could standardize everyone having both a remote and game pad.
Question is, besides the 2017 edition of the remote getting rid of rechargeable batteries, the headphone jack, and using inferior materials and builds. I wonder if there's anything else that differentiates it?
Like I know the new controllers have always on microphones for google assistant, but will that work for for the new remotes? Considering the pro comes with the 2015 remote
Holy shit, it's almost as if what Nvidia said was actually the case.
