I'm scratching my head. I have an ADT-1 running PureNexus 6.0. There are a couple places where it's rough around the edges, and I'm presuming DRM may be a source of my current usage hiccup.
I've been trying to get HBO Now to stream on the ADT-1, which is rooted, using a number of different workarounds including RootCloak and using a Nexus Player build.prop device ID.
No dice so far. Whenever I start a video I get a "failed to get key request" error. Anyone have any idea? Is the device ID being enforced server side?
I don't think HBO Now has ever worked on rooted devices. I had a rooted tablet when it first launched and no cloaking app or any other method got it working.
