The latest FLIRC software (v2.1.1) has been updated to include the Shield TV Remote in the device menu. I haven't tested it yet myself, but hopefully it solves some of the issues that some of us have had with various buttons not working across all apps.
That's awesome. Flirc is such a great device if you use Kodi/SPMC on the shield, so nice to see official support as well.
I wish they also would of included the game control which has a lot more buttons that would be useful.
So what is this exactly? Their website shows a USB dongle and two Raspberry Pi cases. I imagine this is for the usb dongle. Does this mean you can plug it in the shield and use any remote to control it or use the Shield remote to control other devices? If I already have a Harmony hub do I get more control over the Shield?
FLIRC in keyboard mode fixed my OK issue, but unfortunately breaks Geometry Wars 3.
