I'd like to get the support of other DirecTV now subscribers. If your not one, thanks for looking but the rest you probably won't care about. The DirecTV now app is out for the android platform (phones, tablets etc) and the Amazon FireTV Platform (which is android) but yet isn't available for Android TV / Shield TV.... this makes no sense. Side loading doesn't work and many have tried to modify the APK with no success. If you are an AndroidTV / ShieldTV user and are using DirecTV now I'd like to flood them with requests showing the support for this platform. I believe direct TV has already publicly stated that have zero plans for creating an android tv compatible app.
