Nvidia Shield TV, Dolphin Emulator and Vulkan. A good combo?

It's pretty good, not massively noticeable over OpenGL though. Maybe 5 fps extra?

It's CPU bound at the moment but some of the upcoming enhancements really improve performance to the point that some big games run full speed. Stability definitely needs to improve.

Can anyone who has tested this combination give some input as to whether there is a notable performance increase over OpenGL? Your input would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I was just messing with this last night, it's still not stable (crashes a lot and many of the current builds don't work at all) and it's not fast enough to play most wii games. It seems like cut screens are really bad, running at like 20fps while game play can be 60fps. I didn't see much difference between Open GL and Vulkan.

What I'd really like to do is to be able to use the DolphinBar and wiimotes for other games since I don't want to buy more controllers, but since it only does DirectInput and not XInput, most games don't recognize them.

I've been trying it with Double Dash from the Gamecube. It still stutters a little and the audio isn't great. Might just be my settings or something.
Edit: running an old version potentially

Couldn't get Vulkan to work on double dash and Mario sunshine. So went back to Open GL. Only games i have tried however.

Well, I've now tested this and can confirm that it's unstable. Super Mario Sunshine ran smooth, however. Again internal resolution and settings will vary from user. OpenGL yielded smoother results on a myriad of Gamecube games.
