Yes I now the price would have been higher then 69$ us but still idk at least 3.0 would have been not much expensive to add instead of 2.0 .

Usb 2.0 is a limitation of the cpu. Nvidia got around that by making their own custom cpu which is why the shield has 3.0 ports.
I do wonder why there is no ethernet port though. It would only increase the size of the box a little bit and maybe increase the price by around $10.
Wifi on the box is pretty good but I'd still want it ethernet connected.
Not possible without a drastic redesign of the hardware. The SoC doesn't support USB 3. Getting any hardware approved by Google to be officially Android TV blessed is likely a long process, as well. The Mi Box is the entry-level Android TV box. If you need USB 3 you can get the Shield TV.
