Ps4 controller over Bluetooth Nvidia shield

by FrayDabson

So for the past couple weeks I have been using my ps4 controller (2 of them) to play rocket league over gamestream.

Has been working pretty awesomely. Though we were noticing a slight lag so a week ago I lowered it from 4k to 1080p and it was perfect.

Now all the sudden starting yesterday we are getting completely random and awful lag on the controllers. Times buttons won't register at all or it sticks and we are spinning in circles.

Any ideas to what is causing this ? I haven't done anything different so I have no idea what is causing this sudden problem.

Don't have an answer to your question, but how did you get the ps4 controller to hook up without messed up button mapping? Wired or wireless?

I just did this today too. Hold PS and share buttons on the PS4 controller. White lights blink. On Nvidia shield go to add accessory in the settings (not from the Shield accessories logo) and the controller shows up. Pair and it works.
PS button is a Home button. I did notice a slight bit of lag compared to the Shield Controller when playing Rocket League, but that was Remote Play to my PS4 in the basement. FYI for remote play, download both Chrome and Remote Play APK onto a USB stick. Download ES file explorer and Side load Manager from the play store. Install all. You need ES File explorer to install the APKs, then side load Manager to launch remote play. Remote play asks you to sign in to your PSN account, which you need chrome for.
Tried it all out today, all wired together, works pretty damn well.
My Shield TV is an Android box/ Steam link/ PlayStation TV. And all controlled with either a Dualshock 4 or Shield Controller. Pretty amazing....

Weird. Every time I've done that to pair with an Android device, most of my buttons aren't mapped and those that are are mapped wrong...

Ever fix this problem?
