Force Stopped Google Play Movies once... I get this message anytime I try to open it. I've factory reset twice and it persists. Any suggestions? (Nvidia Shield 2017)

If you factory reset it twice I have nothing for ya. Could you install the app through an alternate market or sideload the apk? I don't know these devices well, but I might even try a custom rom if it exists.

Getting the same thing on the old model just now

I'm getting the same error and behavior on my Nvidia Shield tablet. Could be something about Nvidia products causing the crash. I'll have to update on my phone and test.

Just checked it on my Nexus 6 on N and it's doing the same thing (crashing).

It must be a bug in the App. I got it on my Shield last night too.

Same thing on my Moto Z, Nexus 7, and Nexus 6.

Try uninstalling the updates for the app?

salchichoide

Same crash started for me today

bintasaurus

Same on my Nexus 6p..... They've obviously got an issue...Make sure to send them feedback

I just started getting this message last night. I don't think this has anything to do with you force stopping the app. It's possible Google just pushed out a buggy update.

Same :(

Well, I'm glad I'm not alone with this one. It started happening to me out of the blue last night. Hopefully it'll be addressed soon.

Same with my Mi box. Uninstalled the updates and still crashes. Reset the box and dreams still crushed :(

I was experiencing the same thing last night on my Sony Bravia with Android TV. I found that by searching Google Play manually for the app, I was able to download the update which solved this. For some reason, Google Play Movies & TV wasn't showing in My Apps for updates.

Same issues as all of you! Stinks I can't use my favorite app on my shield tv! Surprised Google hasn't fixed this issue yet.
